In August 1995, climber Alison Hargreaves, the first woman to reach the summit of Everest alone and without oxygen, was blown to her death while descending from the summit of the world's second highest mountain, K2. In this programme, her husband Jim Ballard and their children journey to the 'killer mountain' to visit Alison's final resting place.
