[edit] Mission Critical : Hubble
Follows NASA astronauts as they attempt the most dangerous shuttle mission in history. The seven strong crew of the Space Shuttle Atlantis launched with a goal of repairing and upgrading the Hubble Space Telescope - mankind’s greatest scientific instrument. However, it was no ordinary spaceflight. They went further and higher than any mission since the moon landings and their work was some of the most technically ambitious ever performed in space. In this fascinating programme, take an all-access ride along with NASA’s finest.
[edit] The Final Chapter
NASA astronauts train vigorously at their neutral buoyancy lab in preparation for SM4, a massive final mission to revive the Hubble teleoscope. Since the Columbia space shuttle disaster in 2003, NASA has implemented multiple safety precautions in prepration of the SM4 mission to revive the Hubble telescope. Part of the mission will install the cosmic origins spectrograph, a tool to examine the structure of the universe. Costar, which corrected the images must be removed.
